About Monica Kirkland

Monica Kirkland is a CPA with over 20 years of experience in accounting. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Valdosta State University and an MBA from Mercer University. Monica has worked in public accounting, private industry, and government contracting.  She is a trained financial coach and is currently studying to obtain certification as a Financial Planner.  

Monica started Kirkland Associates Financial Services, LLC to help clients do more than crunch the numbers. She is a true advocate for her clients with the heart of a servant and teacher. She enjoys helping her clients achieve their goals, get out of debt, and build wealth. She believes the ultimate status symbol, Financial Freedom, is achievable for everyone.  Her firm provides bookkeeping, tax preparation, and financial coaching for clients all over the country.  

Monica values her small-town roots in Valdosta, Ga where she learned the importance of hard work, community, and family. When she is not spending time with family and friends, Monica enjoys volunteering in the community. She is a member of the Junior League of Tampa since 2013, serving in several Leadership Roles including Treasurer, Community Education Manager, and Membership Manager.  Monica also volunteers with her local church where she serves as a Financial Peace University (FPU) Coordinator.
